Foreclosures and Pets

I keep reading about home foreclosures and the devastating effect they are having on family pets. It's not tragic enough that people are losing their homes, but they're also losing their pets. And these poor animals are losing their families and even their lives. So so sad.

Its just horrendous. I am so saddened by the whole thing.

Shelters are being flooded with these poor animals....and the poor people. It's devastating all the way around.

I volunteer at a shelter and the amount of pets surrendered because of people losing their homes is just heartbreaking.
